Your account and saved gifts
We store your email, account details, submitted text briefs, completed shortlists and credit history to provide the gift finder. Saving reusable recipient details is optional. Share only details and photos you have permission to use; avoid sensitive personal information.
Photos and AI processing
Photos are resized and re-encoded before matching. They are sent to OpenRouter and its model provider to interpret style clues, and are not stored in our application database. During sign-in or checkout, your draft may be kept in this browser tab’s session storage for up to 20 minutes. Restoring it removes that copy; closing the tab also clears the storage.
OpenRouter and its model providers process the clues and product information used for recommendations. Serper receives product search queries to find online listings. Provider processing and retention are governed by their respective policies; we cannot promise that third-party processing is temporary.
Hosting, sign-in and payments
Fly.io hosts the application and Neon stores account and shortlist data in the United States. Resend delivers sign-in emails. Stripe handles payment details; GiftFitly stores purchase references and credits, not your card number. Authentication uses essential session cookies. We record provider usage and request limits to operate the service and limit abuse.
Product images can load from third-party hosts, which receive ordinary network information such as your IP address. Opening a store link takes you to that seller’s website and privacy policy.
Removing your information
You can remove saved recipient details and shortlist content in Saved gifts. Accounting and usage records may remain for billing, security and reconciliation. Contact us to request account deletion, access or correction; we may need to verify ownership and retain records required for legitimate accounting or legal purposes.
